The Pugnator Open International Championship 2025 is being held at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta from 3โ5 October 2025, bringing together young Taekwondo athletes from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Timor-Leste, Pakistan, and beyond in an exciting showcase of skill, passion, and sportsmanship.
The opening ceremony on 4th October 2025 morning was graced by General TNI (Ret.) Marciano Norman, Chairman of KONI (National Sports Committee of Indonesia) Central, and Dr. Raden Isnanta, Deputy of Sports Industry Development, Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia. Both leaders delivered inspiring speeches, highlighting the importance of nurturing youth athletes and supporting Taekwondoโs growth on the international stage.
They were warmly welcomed by Master Stevanus Ong,ย Executive Director of the Pugnator International Open Taekwondo Grand Slam Youth Championship 2025, who expressed his appreciation for their presence and support in elevating the championship into a prestigious platform for the next generation of Taekwondo.
