The event brought together an exceptional gathering of Taekwondo leaders, masters, and contributors from around the world to honour remarkable achievements, lifelong service, and the continuous advancement of the global Taekwondo community.
This yearโs ceremony showcased the unity and shared vision within the martial arts fraternity. The evening began with a powerful and motivating opening address by Grandmaster Rick Shin, President of the Professional Taekwondo Federation, who emphasized PTFโs growing role in shaping the future of Taekwondo and strengthening international cooperation. His message highlighted the organisationโs commitment to excellence, innovation, and global development.
Adding to the significance of the occasion, Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa, President of the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF), delivered a meaningful keynote speech. His address resonated deeply with the attendees as he reflected on Taekwondoโs global evolution, its unifying values, and the responsibility of leaders and practitioners to preserve its traditions while embracing progress.
Also present was Grandmaster Kang Ik Pil, a respected 9th Dan Kukkiwon Grandmaster and renowned international instructor whose lifelong dedication to Taekwondo has inspired countless practitioners.
