🇰🇷 Kim Sang-jin Elected President of the Asian Taekwondo Union (2025–2029)

📍 Kuching, Malaysia – In one of the most closely contested elections in ATU history, Kim Sang-jin of Korea has been elected as the President of the Asian Taekwondo Union (ATU) for the 2025–2029 term.

With a final vote of 33 to 29, Kim Sang-jin edged out fellow Korean and current President of the Korea Taekwondo Association, Yang Jin-bang, to take the helm of the most powerful continental body in global Taekwondo.
