Day 6 of the Wuxi 2025 World Taekwondo Championships delivered another round of exciting matches, technical brilliance, and emotional moments as athletes continued their journey toward world glory. Today’s medal events featured the Women’s -62kg and Men’s -58kg categories—both divisions known for fast-paced action, sharp tactical execution, and remarkable athleticism.

Women’s -62kg Category

A highly competitive division with strong contenders from multiple continents, the Women’s -62kg final was a showcase of precision and determination.

• 🥈 Viviana MARTON (HUN)

• 🥉 Gabriella BLEWITT (AUS)

• 🥉 Ximin CHEN (CHN)

WAFA of Tunisia delivered a strong and composed performance throughout the day, demonstrating strategic awareness and technical confidence, leading her to the top of the podium. MARTON from Hungary secured silver with admirable resilience, while BLEWITT of Australia and CHEN of China both clinched bronze after showing exceptional skill in their matches.

Men’s -58kg Category

Known for speed, agility, and technical adaptability, the Men’s -58kg division lived up to its reputation with thrilling exchanges and dramatic scoring moments.

• 🥇 Abolfazl ZANDI (IRI)

• 🥈 Georgii GURTSIEV (AIN)

• 🥉 Kefen HUANG (CHN)

• 🥉 Gashim MAGOMEDOV (AZE)

ZANDI of Iran showcased impressive timing and tactical precision, earning him the gold medal. GURTSIEV represented AIN with great heart and capability, securing silver. The bronze medals went to HUANG of China and MAGOMEDOV of Azerbaijan, both demonstrating exceptional fighting spirit and technical execution throughout the rounds.
